The Best Series You Probably Haven’t Heard Of
Hey guys!
As I may or may not have mentioned, I love discovering lesser-known books in the Amazon Kindle store. While I love a good NY Times best seller as much as the next fangirl, I also love finding a hidden gem by an author who is just starting out and needs a push. Some of my favorite series are mostly unknown, and whenever I recommend them, I always get blank looks. But I’ve also gotten good feedback on them! So, in the spirit of recommendations, because I know we all love those, here are some of the best books/series I have found out there in the book world that deserve a spot on your TBR!

Double Review: The Winner’s Crime & The Winner’s Kiss by Marie Rutkoski
Hello, fellow bloggers!
I’m here on this lovely Friday to bring you another double review. I feel like they make a lot of sense for books in a series, especially if I read them in sussession. Plus, I already had this lovely picture of the two of them together, so why not take advantage of that? 😉
As you see from the title and photo, this will be a review of the last two books in the Winner’s trilogy by Marie Rutkoski. I read the first book in this trilogy, The Winner’s Curse, back at the beginning of the year, I think February or March, and I really loved it. I read it from start to finish in one sitting. It was a beautifully written story about two characters who are so stubborn you just want to smack their heads together, but you grow to love and respect them for different reasons. Here is the link to the Goodreads page for first book. I gave it a solid 5/5 stars. Now, on with the reviews!
“If you won’t be my friend, you’ll regret being my enemy.”

Double Review: The Dream Thieves & Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater
Hello, blog peeps!
I’m realizing, while looking at my stats for this blog, that I haven’t been posting very regularly on here. Which I feel badly about. I guess I’ve just been so busy with life stuff that I sort of forget how many days go between posts. Time flies when you’re having fun, and sometimes when you’re not. 😉

Tuesday Tidbit: Autumn Book Releases
Hello, all!
It’s a beautiful sumner day here. The sun is shining, it was a scorching 85 degrees Fahrenheit, and things that are supposed to be green are turning that lovely shade of “I’m dying from dehydration” brown. If you are a summer person, it’s wonderful. If you’re me (which I am), it’s just not what you want. I’ve mentioned before that I really adore the autumn months. They are perfectly sunny but crisp, the sun isn’t so hot, you can get warm coffee and tea, you can wear a light jacket and boots, plaid everything, American football is back, the leaves are changing, nature is kissing the year goodbye, and it makes me want to bake something with pumpkin in it. It’s just the most wonderful time of the year. 💙
Another thing I love about autumn? New book releases! So, while this post was originally a small pity party for me, because it’s still only July, I decided I’d add in some actual information. So, I looked up some info about the best/most exciting new releases in September and October so we can all stay informed together. 😉
