Hi everyone! I have something spontaneous, (hopefully) thoughtful, and reminiscent for you today! A review of my first reread of Twilight in about 13 years. Buckle up for some hot takes! If you are a millennial, a millennial’s mom, an … Continue reading Rereading Twilight 15-Years Later: A Legacy or Letdown?
As I may or may not have mentioned, I love discovering lesser-known books in the Amazon Kindle store. While I love a good NY Times best seller as much as the next fangirl, I also love finding a hidden gem by an author who is just starting out and needs a push. Some of my favorite series are mostly unknown, and whenever I recommend them, I always get blank looks. But I’ve also gotten good feedback on them! So, in the spirit of recommendations, because I know we all love those, here are some of the best books/series I have found out there in the book world that deserve a spot on your TBR!
I posted a few days ago about winning an ARC of It Ends With Us and how I was so excited to read it, as I’d never read a Colleen Hoover book before. Now that I’ve read it, I’m wondering if her books come in a boxset or something, because I loved this book so much. Since I received this book in a contest and not in exchange for a review, I won’t include any spoilers. Especially since this book hasn’t been released yet. 😉
If you don’t know what this book is about, here is the synopsis from Goodreads and click here to visit the Goodreads page:
I was given an ecopy of this wonderful book by the author for an honest review. I will also be posting a YouTube video review, but I wanted to spread the word about how much I loved this book, so here is a written review too! 😊 There are some spoilers in this review, so be warned! Also, this book does contain some fairly graphic sexual scenes. They are written very tastefully, but just a warning to younger readers. You know what you can handle. Hello, book loving friends! It has been an embarrassingly long time since I posted a review. Part of this is because of my busyness, and thus laziness when it comes to reviewing, and another part is because I’ve been seriously considering going into BookTube, so I’ve been thinking I’ll just save my reviews for then. However, I still haven’t found the time to start a YouTube channel, so I figured I’d better quit putting it off and review some books! So, the book I’ll be reviewing today is a book I found on the Amazon kindle store, in their unlimited … Continue reading Mini Review: How I Found You by Gabriella Lepore
I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. I’ll be honest. Going into this book, I wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy it. Not because I didn’t think the synopsis sounded promising, but because this book is pretty far out of my usual reading comfort-zone. It’s an adult romance novel, set in a Christian town. All of those things are very unrelated to my usual reading habits ;). However, once I started reading, I was instantly pulling into this story. I really enjoyed reading from this main character’s perspective. Jill has a very real narrative in … Continue reading ARC Mini Review: Return to Me by Taylor W. Law
Hello lovelies! Before I get into the review of this book, I want to mention that the Significance series is one of my all time favorites. I’ve read all 4 previous installments at least 10 times. This series is one that I can always fall back on like a loyal friend. It’s guaranteed to get me out of a reading slump, becasue it’s the perfect combination of romance and paranormal genres. Sometimes I just like my romance without any drama 🙂 And in the previous novels, Caleb and Maggie were always a united front against every obstacle. And I love … Continue reading Review: Undeniably Chosen by Shelly Crane
